While the S64UL is superb for 3" class Hover Strolling, Mid Strolling, and Bottom Strolling, the S67L+ is a technical finesse long spinning rod designed not only for Mid Strolling with 3.5" or larger stick baits but also for a wide variety of other lures.
Following the design philosophy of the 25BLX S64UL, it features a "he-shaped taper" (stepped taper) at the tip. This dramatically improves maneuverability and sensitivity, allowing the angler to feel the tension and slack of the line during slack-line shaking; the tip remains resilient even in strong winds, providing excellent operational feel and allowing for consistent range control by maintaining a steady shaking rhythm without losing concentration.
Furthermore, by increasing the length to 6'7", long-distance casting performance has been sublimated. This added length also provides the advantage of easier line mending after the cast. Beyond Mid Strolling, it is highly compatible with i-shape lures, shads, and various light rigs that would be over-spec for UL-class rods. By increasing the butt power, it enables a fighting style where the angler maintains dominance even near cover in grassy lakes or reservoirs.
